Governor calls Kiev’s evacuation on right bank of Dnieper River 'deceptive maneuver'
Russian troops are ready for any scenario, Vladimir Saldo stressed
GENICHESK, October 24. /TASS/. The forced evacuation of children from populated areas on the right bank of the Dnieper River in the Kherson Region is Kiev’s attempt to mislead Russian troops, Regional Governor Vladimir Saldo said on Tuesday.
Earlier, the military administration in the Kiev-controlled part of the Kherson Region told the Ukrainian media outlet Strana that minors would have to be forcibly evacuated from 21 settlements on the right bank of the Dnieper River.
"Over many months before, neither the combat operations nor the flooding unleashed by the occupants themselves had forced them to think about children. And, all of a sudden, comes this ‘surprise.’ The point is that it is not a matter of children because they [the Ukrainian occupants] are indifferent to children. They are trying to mislead us, devising deceptive maneuvers," the regional governor wrote on his Telegram channel.
Russian troops are ready for any scenario, Saldo stressed.
"However, we are aware of their primitive plans and know why they are doing this. Let them not hope: we are ready for that," the regional governor said.
