MOSCOW, September 26. /TASS/. Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolay Patrushev arrived in Egypt for a working visit during which he will hold Russian-Egyptian consultations on security, the Russian Security Council said.

"On September 26-27, Cairo will host [Patrushev’s] talks with the Egyptian president’s National Security Adviser Faiza Abou el-Naga and Magdy Abdel Ghaffar, a special presidential adviser for counter-terrorism, as well as with the heads of a number of agencies of the [Arab] republic [of Egypt]," the Russian Security Council said in a statement.

The top Russian security official last visited Egypt in January 2019.
