Lavrov slams US threats to countries that cooperate with Russia
Russian Foreign Minister denied claims that the Russian delegation to the UN General Assembly found itself isolated
UNITED NATIONS, September 23. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov rejected claims that the Russian delegation to the UN General Assembly found itself in an isolation.
"The United States is a great power, it is clear to everyone. But, it is a shame for a great power to run after everyone and make threats with the only goal of demonstrating its obsession with dominance," Lavrov said at a news conference to sum up the results of his work during the 78th UN General Assembly.
He denied claims that the Russian delegation to the UN General Assembly found itself isolated.
"Honestly, I can tell you that I had no time to be bored. Yesterday, I began my work at 8 a.m. and called it a day at 8 p.m." he said. "I’m working here, because there are lots of things to be done."
The minister emphasized that Russian delegates "are working with those who respect themselves and who will not betray their national interests on Washington’s commands.".
