UNITED NATIONS, July 31. /TASS/. Russian national security agencies thwart dozens of terror attacks that Ukrainian authorities attempt to organize on Russian territory, Russian First Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN Dmitry Polyansky said, speaking at the Security Council meeting.

"One must understand that Russian security agencies thwart dozens, if not hundreds of terror attacks, planned by the Security Service of Ukraine on Russian territory," the envoy said, adding that the information about it "becomes news almost every day."

Polyansky pointed out that "the Kiev regime mostly attacks not the military infrastructure, warehouses, fuel depots, but peaceful cities and civilian facilities, sometimes thousands of kilometers from the combat zone," and also resorts to "methods of individual terror," common for the ISIS terror group (outlawed in Russia).

Earlier, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov noted that the Kiev regime upholds its essence by continued attempts at terror attacks. He also pointed out that security measures have been reinforced in Moscow and regions of Russia due to continued Ukrainian attacks.
