Electronic visas available for Vietnam, Cambodia and Myanmar nationals — Russian cabinet

The decree was signed by the Russian prime minister, with the list of countries being expanded to 55 nations

MOSCOW, July 31. /TASS/. The Russian Government has expanded the list of countries, whose nationals will be able to enter Russia using electronic visas, and included Vietnam, Cambodia and Myanmar in it, the Cabinet’s press service said.

The decree was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. "Since August 1, 2023, citizens of Vietnam, Cambodia and Myanmar will be able to enter Russia using a uniform electronic visa," the press service said. The list of countries, whose citizens can use electronic visas, is expanded by the decree to 55 nations.

The electronic visa grants a right "to a single entry with a guest or business visit, as a tourist, and for participation in scientific, cultural, public and political, economic and sports events," the Cabinet said. It is valid for sixty days and the tenure for a foreign national in Russia is not above sixteen days from the entry time.
