MOSCOW, June 21. /TASS/. Russia has given its formal diplomatic approval to Alexander Lambsdorff’s appointment as the new German ambassador to Russia, he will soon receive a visa and will be able to start work, the Russian Foreign Ministry told TASS.

"The Russian side has given him the agrement. He will soon receive a visa and will begin work at the embassy," the ministry said on Wednesday.
