GENICHESK, May 5. /TASS/. Russian forces destroyed two Ukrainian artillery guns in the Kherson area over the past day, a spokesman for the regional emergency services reported on Friday.

"At night, artillery fire near the settlement of Molodyozhnoye destroyed a 122mm 2S1 Gvozdika self-propelled artillery gun. Yesterday, artillery fire near the community of Sadovoye destroyed a 152mm 2S3 Akatsiya howitzer," the spokesman said.

The artillery strikes killed ten Ukrainian soldiers, he said.
