Kremlin says no preparations yet for Putin’s next State of the Nation Address
Dmitry Peskov did not specify if preparations were underway for another traditional event, Putin’s Q&A session
MOSCOW, April 13. /TASS/. Preparations for Russian President Vladimir Putin’s next State of the Nation Address to the Federal Assembly haven’t begun yet, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told TASS.
"There are no preparations for the address," he said, when asked if preparations for the president’s address to the country’s parliament had begun.
The spokesman did not specify if preparations were underway for another traditional event, Putin’s Q&A session.
Putin delivered his latest State of the Nation Address on February 21. The previous address took place in April 2021. The president explained that there had been no State of the Nation Address in 2022 because the situation was unfolding very quickly and it was difficult to fix the results at a specific point, as well as specific plans for the near future. However, crucial messages were included in other presidential speeches.
