MOSCOW, April 12. /TASS/. Russian forces repelled Ukrainian army attacks in three areas of the Krasny Liman front, Spokesman for the Battlegroup Center Alexander Savchuk told TASS on Wednesday.

"In the Nevskoye and Torskoye areas, the enemy made attempts to regain its lost positions. The attack was thwarted by artillery fire and Ukrainian nationalists suffered personnel and equipment losses. In the Chervonaya Dibrova section, the enemy troops from the Ukrainian army’s 58th motorized infantry brigade and 95th air assault brigade also attempted to recapture their lost positions. The teams of an artillery regiment from the battlegroup Center inflicted damage on the enemy by firepower. The enemy sustained casualties and dispersed in a forest belt," the spokesman said.

In the Krasny Liman area, operational/tactical and army aviation aircraft from the battlegroup Center struck the sites of Ukrainian Neo-Nazis, knocking out enemy command posts, amassed personnel and equipment, he said.

Russian air defense squads spotted and destroyed Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles, the spokesman said.
