Kiev redeploys 2,000 troops, equipment to Kupyansk area — LPR officer
A battalion tactical group numbers from 600 to 800 soldiers and officers
LUGANSK, April 12. /TASS/. The Ukrainian military command has redeployed 2,000 troops and equipment to the Kupyansk area, Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) people’s militia retired Lieutenant-Colonel Andrey Marochko told TASS on Wednesday.
Russian reconnaissance spotted amassed enemy troops in the Kupyansk area, he said.
"In the area of the settlement of Kislovka, the enemy is observed to amass military hardware and manpower. It has set up field kitchens and tents for accommodating personnel. According to preliminary estimates, the personnel numbers about three battalion tactical groups," he said.

Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov reported on Tuesday that the Ukrainian military had lost over 30 personnel in the Kupyansk area in the past 24 hours.
