UNITED NATIONS, April 10. /TASS/. The accusations that some countries allegedly provide Russia with military supplies in violation of UN Security Council resolutions are groundless, Russia’s envoy to the UN Vasily Nebenzya said at a UN Security Council meeting on Monday.

"Unfounded accusations that this or that country allegedly supplies military products to Russia in violation of relevant UN Security Council resolutions have never been proven true and have been officially refuted multiple times," Nebenzya said.

The diplomat didn’t specify what accusations he was referring to.

"The Russian Federation gives priority to the issues of control over supplies of military-purpose products, consistently strengthens the relevant national legislation and is prepared to share its experience in this realm," the envoy said.

The US and other Western countries have accused Iran of allegedly supplying weapons to Moscow. Russia and Iran have repeatedly rejected these allegations.
