LUGANSK, April 10. /TASS/. The identities of 43 Ukrainian citizens who fought on the side of the Ukrainian armed forces and were reported missing have been established in the Lugansk People’s Republic, the region’s human rights commissioner Victoria Serdyukova reported on Monday.

She cited statistics on her Telegram channel statistics about appeals she received with regard to the search for missing Ukrainian citizens who took part in military actions on the side of the Ukrainian armed forces. "In the period from January 1, 2023 to March 31, 2023 I received 200 appeals; the whereabouts of 43 people were established, and the fate of 157 people is unknown," the statistics said.

On March 24, Anna Soroka, the head of the inter-departmental working group dedicated to finding the burial sites of victims of Ukrainian aggression and advisor to the LPR head, said that LPR authorities planned to create a separate body to search for dead and missing Russian servicemen.
