Ukrainian forces seek to shift focus to Avdeyevka, where Russian forces advance — DPR Head
Ugledar and Maryinka also remain hotspots, Pushilin said
MOSCOW, April 6. /TASS/. Ukrainian armed forces currently seek to relocate forces from Artyomovsk to the city of Avdeyevka near Donetsk, where Russian forces advance successfully, Acting DPR Head Denis Pushilin said on Russian TV Thursday.
"Currently, they try to gradually shift focus from Artyomovsk to Avdeyevka. Why Avdeyevka in particular - our forces advance rather successfully there; the guys there are real specialists, they sometimes do the impossible, advancing through Avdeyevka outskirts as we speak," he said.
Ugledar and Maryinka also remain hotspots, Pushilin said.
"Ugledar here remains a hotspot, although the situation there has folded into positional standoff. But there is still a hotspot there, a strategically important one. Well, and in Maryinka as well," he noted.
