LUGANSK, April 6. /TASS/. The Ukrainian army is redeploying reserves - both manpower and materiel - towards Krasny Liman from the area of Artyomovsk (Ukrainian name Bakhmut) the Lugansk People’s Republic’s military expert, retired Lieutenant-Colonel Andrey Marochko, told TASS on Thursday.

"The arrival of additional enemy forces and equipment has been noted in the Krasny Liman area. Heavy losses in this area forced the Ukrainian command to move some reserves from the area of Artyomovsk. Up to a company of personnel was withdrawn from positions between Chasov Yar and Minkovka and sent to reinforce defense lines near the village of Nevskoye," he said.

Marochko stressed that since the beginning of this week Ukrainian troops had lost up to 500 soldiers in the Krasny Liman area.

Earlier, Marochko told TASS that Russian forces in the Krasny Liman area had destroyed the enemy’s strike drone armed with armor-piercing shells.
