MOSCOW, April 5. /TASS/. Russian defenses are deeply layered on all parts of the front and are ready for any Ukrainian counteroffensive attempts, says Yan Gagin, Advisor to Acting DPR Head’s Denis Pushilin.

"Right now, our defenses are very deeply layered across the entire frontline, on all swaths - both Crimea, the Zaporozhye swath of the frontline, as well as Ugledar and Avdeyevka ones," he said on Russian TV.

Gagin specified that up to four lines of defense have been constructed on some directions.

"We are ready for any counteroffensive," he concluded.
