MELITOPOL, April 3. /TASS/. Ukrainian militants attacked the head of Akimovka in the Zaporozhye Region, Maxim Zubarev, by blowing up his car, Andrey Siguta, the head of the Melitopol District, said on Monday.

"Today, <…> an act of terror was committed on the head of Akimovka, Maxim Zubarev. Thus, they (the Kiev regime - TASS) have renewed efforts to intimidate locals," Siguta wrote on his Telegram channel.

Emergency services told reporters that Zubarev was injured in a car blast.

The Melitopol administration said, referring to medics, that Zubarev was in serious condition.
