It is reported that the fortifications are being reinforced to endure hits with artillery and mortars
MOSCOW, March 7. /TASS/. Russian troops are reinforcing fortifications on the eastern bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson Region, a fighter with the call sign Fizruk told TASS on Tuesday.
"We are building fortifications at this line. We will now block the cracks, get ready to reinforce our defenses. We are on the left bank of the Dnieper River. We work on the fortifications every day in between incoming shelling and fighting," the fighter said.
He said the fortifications are being reinforced to endure hits with artillery and mortars.
"We are doing this work day and night. If there’s shelling during the day, we start with nightfall," he said.
According to the soldier, Ukrainian troops carry out surveillance from the opposite bank. They have also set up radio warfare units.
