SIMFEROPOL, March 6. /TASS/. Russian forces in the Zaporozhye Region have seen their conditions on the battlefield improve in recent months, especially in terms of staffing and equipment, the region’s acting governor, Yevgeny Balitsky said on Monday.

"The regiments are manned and equipped fully, with all the forces and means in place. The current situation is much better than several months ago," he said in an interview with the Krym-24 television channel.

Vladimir Rogov, leader of the We Are Together with Russia movement, said in early February that Russia’s special forces in the Zaporozhye direction had received Mi-8AMTSh modernized helicopters.
