Russia asks Serbia to clarify official position on ammo supplies to Kiev — diplomat
As the official representative of the Russian diplomatic service, Maria Zakharova, emphasized, this is "a really extremely important topic for bilateral relations."
MOSCOW, March 2. /TASS/. The Russian Federation has requested that Belgrade state its official position regarding information concerning deliveries of Serbian ammunition to Ukraine, Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Thursday.
Earlier, she said Moscow was "deeply concerned" about this information, noting that Russia was closely monitoring the situation. "We have already asked Belgrade to clarify its position," Zakharova told the RBC TV channel.
The diplomat stressed that such statements should be made "not through the media, not through Telegram channels, and not through leaks, but through the officially stated position of the Serbian side."
"Facts must be presented, and then relevant conclusions will be made, since this is an extremely important matter indeed for the bilateral relationship," she added.
