MOSCOW, March 1. /TASS/. Bogdan Shkuruly, a captured unit commander of the Ukrainian National Guard, said Ukrainian troops are engaged in looting, according to a video that the Russian Defense Ministry released on Wednesday.

"Everybody does it a little. I can’t single out anyone in particular as looting more than the rest. Everybody does it a little. They came in and brought things out: mostly appliances, boilers, household furniture," he said in the video.

The man said almost all of his fellow service members used alcohol and drugs. Some of them hoped to be wounded in the arm or leg, so they could go on medical leave.
