Switzerland drops neutrality to support Ukrainian neo-Nazis — Russian diplomat
Apart from that, she drew attention to the fact that Bern has initiated a new batch of financial assistance to Ukraine and to Moldova worth 140 million Swiss francs
MOSCOW, February 26. /TASS/. Bern has dropped its traditional neutrality and has opted to support Ukrainian neo-Nazis, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Sunday.
"Despite more than two centuries of the policy of neutrality, following the beginning of Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine, Bern has refused from its traditional neutrality and opted to support the Kiev neo-Nazi regime," she wrote on her Telegram channel.
As examples, she cited Switzerland’s joining the European Union’s anti-Russian sanctions and the official condemnation of Russia’s actions, including in international organizations, its blocking a number of assets of Russian nationals and organizations, "providing a venue for the discussion of financial aid to Ukraine on the European level, including such an option as the illegitimate seizure" of Russian assets, and training Ukrainian engineering troops.
Apart from that, she drew attention to the fact that Bern has initiated a new batch of financial assistance to Ukraine and to Moldova worth 140 million Swiss francs (148.8 million US dollars). "And many other things Bern doesn’t think to be a deviation from neutrality, but the logic suggests otherwise," Zakharova added.
