US' satellites fighting against Russia, aware of selfishness of US' intentions, says Putin
The head of state emphasized the huge dependency of certain countries on the US in the economy and the defense sector
MOSCOW, February 26. /TASS/. /TASS/. The US’ satellites have joined the fight against Russia, though they realize the selfishness of Washington’s intentions, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in an interview for the "Moscow. Kremlin. Putin" program on Rossiya-1 TV channel aired on Sunday when answering questions by journalist Pavel Zarubin.
The head of state emphasized the huge dependency of certain countries on the US in the economy and the defense sector. "Moreover, [they] probably think that in this case the fighting against Russia is the converging interest they have with the US. And even satellites join this fight, though they still perfectly realize that everything that the US does only meets its egoistic interests," he said, adding that it "often even does not meet the interests of its so-called allies."
"But we cannot and we will not behave like that," Putin stressed, adding that he expected Russia’s position for the multipolar world order, for consideration for all and each country on the international arena, for consideration for everyone’s interests to prevail. "I have no doubt of it," the president pointed out.
