Patrushev expressed regret that "further transformation of the system of international relations toward a multipolar model of the world order is facing growing opposition from the collective West, which seeks to maintain its global domination at all costs."

"In particular, the West has unilaterally denounced a number of major international treaties, including on the track of arms control. Projects to create new military blocs in various regions of the world, benefiting only a narrow group of countries, are being advanced. The US and its allies are trying to replace universal rules of international law with the so-called rule-based order," Patrushev pointed out.

According to him, "the bloody developments unleashed by the West in Ukraine is just one of the examples. "All this is done against Russia and China, and also to the detriment of developing nations," he summed up.
