Wang Yi visited Budapest on Monday after attending the Munich Security Conference
MOSCOW, February 21. /TASS/. Director of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and member of the CCP Politburo Wang Yi has arrived on a visit in Moscow, a source close to the visit organizers told TASS on Tuesday.
"Wang Yi has arrived in Moscow," he said.
A Russian foreign ministry spokesman told TASS earlier that Wang Yi will meet with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Wednesday.
Wang Yi visited Budapest on Monday after attending the Munich Security Conference. While in Munich, he met with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba.
Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said earlier that President Vladimir Putin may have talks with Wang Yi during the latter’s visit to Moscow.
