MOSCOW, February 17. /TASS/. On February 16, Russia’s Armed Forces delivered a concentrated missile strike on enterprises providing Ukrainian troops with fuel and ammunition, Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Igor Konashenkov told journalists on Friday.
"On February 16, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation delivered a concentrated missile strike with air-and sea-based long-range high-precision weapons on the enterprises supplying fuel and ammunition to the Ukrainian armed forces," the spokesman said.
According to the military official, the mission was accomplished. "All designated targets were hit," he added. "As a result of the strike, fuel supplies to Ukrainian army groupings have been interrupted, the capabilities of producing explosive substances, gunpowder and solid propellant in Ukraine have been substantially reduced," he asserted.
