Moscow, Beijing discuss prospects for developing bilateral ties in 2023 — statement
The Russian Foreign Ministry noted that there was an in-depth exchange of views on a number of international and regional issues
MOSCOW, February 3. /TASS/. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko and his Chinese counterpart Ma Zhaoxu discussed on Friday the prospects for developing bilateral ties in 2023 and gave a high assessment of the current state of relations between Moscow and Beijing.
"In the course of the conversation, the current state of Russian-Chinese relations was highly assessed and the mutual commitment to their gradual development was confirmed. The prospects for expanding bilateral ties in 2023 were discussed," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The ministry noted that there was an in-depth exchange of views on a number of international and regional issues. The sides noted the effectiveness of foreign policy coordination and outlined steps to further strengthen cooperation.
