‘Our top priority is to preserve Russia,’ Putin says

The head of state stressed that restoring the historical memory and keeping it alive was part of the efforts aimed at achieving that goal

VOLGOGRAD, February 2. /TASS/. Preserving the country and creating conditions for its development are a top priority, Russian President Vladimir Ptuin said at a meeting with members of patriotic and youth organizations on Thursday.

"Our top priority is to preserve Russia, create conditions for its sustained development and make it stronger, and this mission will certainly be completed," the head of state pointed out.

Putin added that restoring the historical memory and keeping it alive was part of the efforts aimed at achieving that goal.

At the end of the event, the president posed for a group photo with the meeting’s participants.
