Kremlin praises Cabinet’s ‘brilliant’ work amid proxy war against Russia

The country has managed to cope with it "with the least possible losses" thanks to the government’s efforts, Dmitry Peskov said

MOSCOW, January 30. /TASS/. The country managed to handle it "with the least possible losses" thanks to the government’s efforts.

"[Then] came the proxy war, which the countries of the collective West began to launch against us. Indeed <...> not only did we manage it get out of this situation, but we managed to pull through brilliantly," the Kremlin press secretary noted.

The cabinet was able to preserve "the trajectory of potential growth [of the country's economy]," Peskov pointed out. "Yes, we had a minor drop but much lower than our forecasts predicted. The potential is very good and the prospects are absolutely positive," he observed.

President Vladimir Putin "has repeatedly provided an assessment to [the Cabinet’s] work, and the evaluation was always positive," Peskov added.
