MOSCOW, January 28. /TASS/. Moscow considers Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan a leader of a unique ‘caliber’ who is capable of not looking back at external pressure, Russian Deputy Foreign minister Oleg Syromolotov said in an interview with TASS.

"Turkish President Erdogan is a leader of a different caliber, whose actions demonstrate readiness to pursue a policy, in spite of external pressure, in accordance with the expectations of his people, rather than orders from third countries," the deputy foreign minister said.

Syromolotov pointed out that the dynamic development of the Russian-Turkish multifaceted cooperation is based on a mutually respectful dialogue resting on own interests and taking into consideration the partner’s national priorities.
