Russia expects meeting of intergovernmental commission with Angola in late April
Sergey Lavrov emphasized that the bilateral relationship and friendship between the two countries continue expanding gradually in accordance with the agreements of their presidents

Russia expects the meeting of the intergovernmental commission on trade-economic and scientific-technical cooperation with Angola at the end of April, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told a press conference on Wednesday following the talks with his Angolan counterpart Tete Antonio.
"We expect the meeting of the commission at the end of April in Luanda," he said.
As part of preparations to the next meeting of the intergovernmental commission Russia’s top diplomat noted the necessity to prioritize trade and economic cooperation. "Among the cooperation areas are geology, mining, energy, telecommunications, information technologies, space, agriculture," he added.
Meanwhile, Lavrov emphasized that the bilateral relationship and friendship between the two countries continue expanding gradually in accordance with the agreements of their presidents. "Those agreements stipulate boosting our interaction in the political, trade-economic, military-technical and humanitarian fields. We discussed it all in detail today," he said.
