MELITOPOL, January 16. /TASS/. Russian air defense systems opened fire on Ukrainian drones over the city of Berdyansk in the Zaporozhye region on Monday evening, Vladimir Rogov, leader of the We Are Together with Russia movement, said on Monday.

"According to preliminary data, the explosions heard on Monday in Berdyansk were caused by the work of Russian air defense systems against enemy kamikaze drones," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

He said earlier that two blasts were heard in Berdyansk at 7:45 p.m. on Monday.
