Moscow expects Chad’s leader to take part in Russia-Africa summit — embassy
The second Russia-Africa summit and economic forum is scheduled to take place on July 26-29, 2023
MOSCOW, January 16. /TASS/. Russia expects Chad’s transitional President Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno to visit St.Petersburg in July 2023 to attend the second Russia-Africa summit, the Russian Embassy in Chad said in a communique on Monday.
"Russia is expecting the arrival of the President of the Republic of Chad, Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno, at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin, to participate in the second Russia-Africa summit to be held in St.Petersburg in July 2023, heading Chad’s delegation, which will be offered an interesting and eventful program, business meetings, new business projects and major investment programs," the diplomatic mission said.
Roscongress said earlier that the second Russia-Africa summit and economic forum is scheduled to take place on July 26-29, 2023.
