Russia targets only Ukraine’s military potential-related infrastructure — Lavrov
As the top diplomat emphasized, high accuracy strikes, "put energy facilities, on which the functioning of Ukraine’s armed forces and the delivery of a huge amount of weapons depends, out of commission"
MOSCOW, December 1. /TASS/. Russia hits only those infrastructure facilities in Ukraine that have military significance, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told a press conference on European security issues on Thursday.
"The infrastructure that is now under attack is crucial to the combat potential of Ukraine’s armed forces and nationalist battalions," Lavrov said.
As Lavrov emphasized, high accuracy strikes, "put energy facilities, on which the functioning of Ukraine’s armed forces and the delivery of a huge amount of weapons depends, out of commission. The West is pumping Ukraine with these weapons to be used for killing Russians."
"Our Defense Ministry and military experts, not only Russian, but also American ones, and military specialists from other NATO countries, draw attention to the fact that from the beginning, our military operation was carried out in a way that minimized the negative consequences for the civilian population and civilian infrastructure," he concluded.
