MOSCOW, November 29. /TASS/. Talks between Russia and Ukraine can begin only if Kiev displays political willingness to discuss Moscow’s demands, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told journalists on Tuesday.

"There should be political will and readiness to discuss Russia’s demands that are well-known," the Kremlin official said, replying to a question as to which steps the Ukrainian authorities should take in order to begin the negotiations in addition to overcoming a legislative ban on holding talks with Moscow.

That said, Peskov stressed that "currently, talks are impossible because they are completely rejected by the Ukrainian side." "The special military operation continues," he added.
