Battles fought in Maryinka’s central part — acting DPR head
It is reported that people are evacuated to safe places
MOSCOW, November 28. /TASS/. The allied forces are already fighting in the center of Maryinka, acting head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Denis Pushilin said on Monday.
"As for Maryinka, the fighting is currently conducted in the center of the city. Our troops mange to evacuate people to safe places. There is certain progress," he said in an interview with the Rossiya-24 television channel.
He also said that Ukraine’s reservists, mainly men older than 55, are being transferred from the Kherson to Donetsk direction. "The enemy is deploying additional forces, pulling reserves from the Kherson direction [to Donetsk]. But according to soldiers who are deployed there, these are mainly men 55+, reservists of Ukraine’s armed units, who don’t want to find themselves on the frontline," he said in an interview with the Rossiya-24 television channel.
