Diplomat divulges issues on the agenda at next year’s Russia-Africa summit

It is reported that matters of food and energy security, healthcare and humanitarian cooperation, education, science and culture, are planned for discussion during the summit

MOSCOW, November 25. /TASS/. The Russia-Africa summit scheduled to be held in St. Petersburg next summer will touch upon a host of issues in light of the anti-Russia crusade of the US-led West, Ambassador at Large, Head of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum Secretariat Oleg Ozerov told TASS in an interview.

"Efforts are underway at all levels to create new tools and mechanisms of cooperation with African nations amid the West’s crusade to isolate Russia politically and economically," Ozerov said. "We plan to include the discussion of issues related to building a new global architecture in the context of strengthening multipolarity, including in the international security sphere, into the summit’s agenda," the diplomat noted.

"Above all, matters of food and energy security, healthcare and humanitarian cooperation, education, science and culture," are planned for discussion during the summit, he added.
