Kiev redeploying tanks in breakthrough attempt on Lugansk front — LPR militia
Andrey Marochko said earlier on Tuesday that the Lugansk engagement line was a priority direction for the Ukrainian military
MOSCOW, November 15. /TASS/. The Ukrainian military command is redeploying its tanks to the line of engagement in the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) in an evident breakthrough attempt, LPR people’s militia officer Andrey Marochko said on Tuesday.
"The enemy has, indeed, begun to redeploy substantial forces and materiel here [to the LPR border], including armored groups that are the basic assault units of their ground forces. All this is evidence that the enemy will again attempt to break through our defense," the officer said in a live broadcast on the Rossiya-24 TV Channel.
The Ukrainian military is also redeploying motor vehicles and artillery units, he added.
"The battlegroup is being beefed up daily," he said.
Marochko said earlier on Tuesday that the Lugansk engagement line was a priority direction for the Ukrainian military.
