BRYANSK, November 15. /TASS/. In its new national security strategy the US officially enshrines its superiority over other states and Washington is ready to do anything in order to achieve its self-serving goals, Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolay Patrushev said.

"The Americans have reflected their selfish attitudes and opinions in all spheres of life in their new national security strategy approved by US President [Joe Biden] a month ago," the official said in Bryansk on Tuesday at a security meeting in the Central Federal District. He reiterated that the strategy reflects that China represents the most serious geopolitical challenge to the US while Russia is a direct and constant threat to the regional security order in Europe.

"This fundamental document which determines US long-term policy yet again stresses America’s exclusivity and confirms the intention to impose its model of democracy on the entire world. Thus, by officially enshrining its superiority over other countries, Washington is willing to go to any lengths in order to attain its selfish goals," the top security official noted.
