MOSCOW, November 11. /TASS/. The Russian army’s counter-battery measures have eliminated a platoon of US M777 towed howitzers in the Kharkov Region, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said on Friday.

"Counter-battery measures suppressed a platoon of US-made M777 towed howitzers in the area of Zolochev, the Kharkov Region," Konashenkov said.

A platoon of Ukrainian self-propelled howitzers Akatsiya was wiped out near Nevskoye, in the Lugansk People's Republic. And near Nikolayev, an ammunition depot of the 28th mechanized brigade of Ukraine’s Armed Forces was eliminated.
