Putin-Pashinyan talks are over
After the meeting with Pashinyan, Putin will hold bilateral talks with the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev
SOCHI, October 31. /TASS/. The talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan are over. The talks lasted for about two hours. The Monday meeting happened ahead of the trilateral summit of leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia and Russia.
Opening the in-person meeting, Putin noted that the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh and on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border has dragged on and requires settlement. In turn, Pashinyan stated that the withdrawal of Azerbaijani forces is very important for Yerevan, so Armenia hopes for a clear position from Russia on this issue. The Prime Minister assured that Armenia is ready to unblock the regional communications with Azerbaijan at any moment.
