US, Ukraine fail to respond to questions about Bioweapons Convention — Russian envoy

In mid-June, Russia sent memos to the United States and Ukraine, containing a list of questions about their compliance with Articles 1 and 4 of the Convention and requesting them to give detailed answers, Vasily Nebenzya said

UNITED NATIONS, October 27. /TASS/. Washington and Kiev still haven’t responded to Moscow’s requests concerning violations of the Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production and Stockpiling of Bacteriological (Biological) and Toxin Weapons, Russian Permanent Representative to the United Nations Vasily Nebenzya said at a UN Security Council meeting on Thursday.

"In mid-June, we sent memos to the United States and Ukraine, containing a list of questions about their compliance with Articles 1 and 4 of the Convention and requesting them to give detailed answers," he pointed out. "However, Washington and Kiev neither provided the necessary clarification nor took immediate action to improve the situation," Nebenzya added.
