Western attempts to bring everyone under single model doomed — Putin
The Russian president noted that there is no stability in anything
MOSCOW, October 27. /TASS/. Western attempts to bring other countries under a single model are objectively doomed, it will not work, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday at the Valdai Discussion Club plenary session.
"The world is inherently diverse, and attempts by the West to bring everyone under a single model are objectively doomed. Nothing will come of it," he said.
According to the head of state, "arrogant aspiration for world leadership and, in fact, for dictate or preservation of leadership by means of dictate, in fact, plunges" the international authority of Western leaders, including the US, and inspires "growth of distrust to their ability to agree in general".
"Today they say one thing, tomorrow they say another. Today they sign documents, tomorrow they refuse to sign them. They do what they want. There is no stability in anything. How to sign documents, what to talk about? What can we hope for? It is absolutely unclear," the president concluded.
