DPR head announces exchange of 110 captives with Ukraine

DONETSK, October 17. /TASS/. Acting head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin announced that an exchange of prisoners with Ukraine under a 110 for 110 formula takes place today.
"An exchange under a 110 for 110 formula takes place today. We mostly return women to Kiev. We bring back 80 civilian sailors that were held hostage from the Ukrainian captivity. In addition, 30 servicemen from DPR, LPR and other regions of Russia gain their freedom," he said on his Telegram channel Monday.
On Monday, Pushilin said that DPR POWs are being held captive in Ukraine in "most horrific conditions," and it is necessary to achieve get them all released.
On September 22, Pushilin announced another exchange of captives with Kiev. During the exchange, Kiev released 55 servicemen and Ukrainian politician Viktor Medvedchuk. In turn, Kiev received 215 people, including members of Ukrainian nationalist battalions.
