MOSCOW, October 14. /TASS/. Vladimir Rogov, chairman of the We Are Together with Russia civil society group, on Friday said the Ukrainian army had built up enough forces on the combat engagement line in the Zaporozhye Region to conduct offensive operations, including crossing the Dnieper and capturing the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.

"Ukraine has all the forces to assault positions, cross the Dnieper, seize the Zaporozhye NPP. It’s unlikely that they have been kept there on the engagement line for a month for no reason, conducting combat coordination, training," he told TASS.

Rogov said that the weather will worsen in the region in a few days, as rains will begin, washing away dirt roads.

"The mass of personnel and equipment [of the armed forces of Ukraine] is large and has not yet been fully used on the Zaporozhye engagement. <...> Either they will now try to break through our defenses, to inflict a defeat on the Zaporozhye front, or they will never have that opportunity," he said.

According to Rogov, the balance of forces is now conditionally in favor of the enemy.

"But it will begin to change sharply in our favor in the near future, given the arrival of volunteers, mobilized troops and reinforcements," he said.

Rogov expressed confidence that the military operation "will end sadly for the enemy," and this will be followed by a counteroffensive of the allied forces, "which could lead, among other things, to the liberation of the city of Zaporozhye."

"Thus, we can ride into Zaporozhye on the shoulders of the armed forces of Ukraine," he said.
