DPR head says allied forces advance near Ugledar, Maryinka

Denis Pushilin also talked about the success of the allied forces near Avdeyevka

DONETSK, October 10. /TASS/. Denis Pushilin, the acting head of the Donetsk People’s Republic, on Monday said allied forces are advancing near Ugledar and Maryinka.

"As for the Ugledar area, the Kaskad tactical battle unit is doing some serious work: The guys are making real headway in difficult conditions. <...> Also in the Ugledar area, a division of coal miners is at work. Regarding the Maryinka area, we are seeing a certain advancement, <...> the First Army Corps of the People’s Militia of the Donetsk People’s Republic is at work, and also other units are at work, including Chechen servicemen," he said in a video posted to Telegram.

According to Pushilin, an offensive continues in Artyomovsk (the Ukrainian name is Bakhmut) along with the clearing of the nearby population centers of Ukrainian units.

He also talked about the success of the allied forces near Avdeyevka.

"We are moving toward Pervomaisky. It’s the work of the 11th regiment and the Somali unit," the official said.
