Russian diplomat warns EU over planned military assistance mission for Ukraine

According to Maria Zakharova, the West’s outright and massive support for the Zelensky government "prolongs military activities and pushes the Kiev regime to commit more crimes"

MOSCOW, October 6. /TASS/. The European Union’s move to create a military assistance mission for Ukraine will ensure the EU’s role as a party to the conflict, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said at a briefing on Thursday.

"The EU is trying to keep up with the US and the UK, discussing plans to establish a military assistance mission for Ukraine. If such a mission is set up eventually, it will increase the European Union’s actual involvement and cement its role as a party to the conflict," she emphasized.

According to the diplomat, the West’s outright and massive support for the Zelensky government "prolongs military activities and pushes the Kiev regime to commit more crimes." "For instance, calls have emerged on the Ukrainian segment of the Internet to detonate a dirty bomb in Moscow," she noted.

"We have long realized what kind of methods the Kiev regime uses. These methods are viewed as extremist and terrorist ones because they include murders and terrorist attacks against those whom, until recently, they described as their own people but insulted, calling them second-class citizens, as well as on the citizens of other countries, including our country," Zakharova stressed.
