Kherson Region authorities moved residents of ‘gray zones’ to safe places
Kirill Stremousov stressed that the defense line in the Kherson Region has not moved an inch
MOSCOW, October 5. /TASS/. Residents of the ‘gray zones’ in the Kherson Region have been moved to safe territory to avoid abuse by the Ukrainian armed forces, Kirill Stremousov, deputy head of the region's military-civilian administration, said on Wednesday.
"All the people who are in the Nazi-occupied territories, those who wanted to, <...> they came out. <...> We did everything so that people would not be abused," he said during a Rossiya-1 TV broadcast, specifying that some people are in the Beryslav region, and some have taken their children to Crimea.
Stremousov stressed that the defense line in the Kherson Region has not moved an inch.
Earlier, he reported that Ukrainian units were able to advance in the Kherson direction in the so-called gray zone, but it cost them very serious losses. He also noted that the situation on the line of contact in the region was stable.
