Kirill Stremousov described the situation in the Kherson Region as stable, saying that Ukrainian troops posed no threat at the moment

MOSCOW, October 5. /TASS/. Deputy head of the Kherson Region’s Military-Civilian Administration Kirill Stremousov denied rumors that he had left the region, circulated by Ukrainian Telegram channels on Tuesday.

"We all are on the frontline, we are not going anywhere and keep moral high among residents of the Kherson Region," he told Russia’s Channel One. "They said I went somewhere, to Voronezh, or to Moscow, that I fled. I’m not fleeing, I’m staying in my homeland of Kherson," he said.

He described the situation in the Kherson Region as stable, saying that Ukrainian troops posed no threat at the moment.

"Russia is not going anywhere, we will stand our ground till the end," he said. "The situation is not critical."

The situation on the line of engagement in the Kherson Region remains stable, the deputy chief of the region’s military-civilian administration said earlier on Tuesday. In Stremousov’s words, the region’s population is not under threat, and Kiev’s attempts to assault the region only lead to heavy casualties among Ukrainian servicemen.
