Russia’s Medvedev berates ‘officer’ Musk for ‘revealing himself too early’

MOSCOW, October 4. /TASS/. Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev jokingly proposed to award Elon Musk, who previously published his own idea of Ukrainian settlement, with a new officer rank.

"Musk did well, by the way. He’s worthy of being awarded with a new officer rank out of order," Medvedev said on his Telegram channel.

"It’s a shame though that Justas revealed himself too early," Medvedev said ironically, using a call sign from a Soviet spy movie. "Next post, he’ll say something along the lines of ‘Ukraine is an artificial state’," Medvedev said, adding a joking emoji.

In his settlement scenario, Musk proposed to hold a new referendum on the liberated territories under UN supervision, to recognize Crimea as a part of Russia and to preserve Ukraine’s neutral status. Later, the entrepreneur claimed that victory for Ukraine is "unlikely in total war" due to vast difference in population.
