UNITED NATIONS, September 8. /TASS/. An indirect confrontation of Russia and NATO increases the risk of a direct conflict, Russian Permanent Representative to the United Nations Vasily Nebenzya told the UN Security Council on Thursday.
"NATO’s indirect confrontation with Russia objectively increases the risk of Russia’s direct clash with the alliance, despite claims that NATO is doing everything possible to avert this scenario," he said.
